Pattonville High School English learner teacher Eleanor Taylor has been named a Regional Teacher of the Year by EducationPlus. Taylor, the Pattonville School District Teacher of the Year, is one of 10 St. Louis regional honorees and one of only 34 still in the running for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) State Teacher of the Year honor.

The Regional Teacher of the Year program is designed to focus public attention on excellence in teaching and to honor classroom teachers in all regions of Missouri.
