Decision Day was celebrated at Pattonville High School on May 2 during all lunches.
National College Decision Day was May 1, but Pattonville’s version had more of a focus on celebrating all seniors and what they will be doing after high school graduation whether it's attending a college, trade school or training program, enlisting in the military, joining a skilled apprenticeship or beginning full-time work.
The event was planned by college and career preparation counselor Michelle Luraschi and festivities included students putting their name on a Pirate Pete and placing it on a map of where they are going next, a photo booth with props, free giveaways and cupcakes. There was also a gratitude station where students could write thank you notes to those who have helped them throughout high school.
Graduation is on May 25 and will be held at The Family Arena.
