Remington has been my home for the last 25 years. What makes Remington an amazing place is the sense of community. I have built so many wonderful relationships with students and families over the years that have made an impact on my life. Our staff is fun, friendly and supportive which is a reason I enjoy coming to work each day. I also love that at Remington we can connect with our students and have the opportunity to continue to watch them grow and learn all the way through eighth grade. At Remington, it truly feels like a family.

I feel that we all have a shared vision of helping each child grow and reach their best both academically and as a person. The staff works well together to keep students first and to help each other out whenever possible. I'm happy to be a part of this amazing community!

I think Remington is such a great learning environment because it provides opportunities for mentoring between grade levels. I think our ELOs also expands that opportunity and allows students to have a little more freedom in what they learn. As a special education teacher, I’ve really enjoyed watching some of my students flourish in this new model with them including student interests into learning.

I believe what makes Remington great is the positive, collaborative culture that is shared amongst the staff and students. For me a great school has a family feel and Remington definitely exemplifies that, the staff knows each other’s students and they all have a collective agreement to work together!
