Board Actions
The Pattonville Board of Education on July 24:
- Approved paying $1,167,344.60 for regular bills;
- Approved paying $795,661.21 for purchases made on Pattonville's purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1 percent (or $7,642.44);
- Declared a list of equipment and textbooks as surplus to be sold at auction on the district's GovDeals website;
- Approved paying $4,540 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt for legal services;
- Approved paying $4,165 to the National School Boards Association for 2018-2019 membership dues;
- Approved a salary schedule for the high school athletic trainer;
- Approved paying $12,000 to renew a TV room maintenance agreement with Dorman Video for the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019;
- Approved paying $11,483.64 to West Interactive Services Corporation to renew an agreement for SchoolMessenger services;
- Approved paying $9,775 to Ellevation LLC to renew an agreement for the English language learner instruction and management system for a 12-month period;
- Awarded a bid for Apple iPhone 8 cellphones to AT&T for $16,599.43;
- Awarded a bid for a walk-in freezer and refrigerator for Bridgeway Elementary School to Rapids Food Service and Design for $36,378; and
- Awarded a bid for four school buses to Midwest Transit Equipment for $284,819.
